Happy Swimmers private lifeguard service began in 1991 in Los Angeles, and over the years, we’ve expanded to many Southwest cities, in the aim of truly preventing many of the drowning and near drowning we read about in the news. In 2009 we opened in Austin and Houston, and now Dallas and San Antonio. We are the largest private event lifeguard service in the country and dare I then say, the largest in Texas!

Caitlin, San Antonio Lifeguard, and Lifeguard Instructor
Hello All!
My name is Caitlin. I moved to Texas about 5 years ago and now currently reside in San Antonio. I have been swimming since I can remember and all my summers were spent in the water so it was a natural progression to teaching and lifeguarding. Starting at a local YWCA during high school, I coached and lifeguarded for a youth swim team during University, and then moved onto lifeguarding on the beaches of Hilton Head Island, SC. I have been a Red Cross certified lifeguard for 10 years now and simply love the challenge and rewards of working with children in the water. I have had experience with special needs children including autism, ADD, ADHD, and Downs Syndrome. . I am currently certified as a Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor which includes CPR, First Aid, AED, O2 Admin, Bloodbourne Pathogens, and WSI.
