Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Lifeguard for Hire Service
Dallas Lifeguard Service, mobile throughout all Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.
It’s smart to hire a lifeguard for a party, and we’re the company to serve you. Here’s a little about us…
Happy Swimmers private lifeguard service began in 1991 in Los Angeles, and over the years, we’ve expanded to many Southwest cities, in the aim of truly preventing many of the drowning and near drowning accidents we’ve read about in the news. In 2009 we opened in Austin and Houston, and now Dallas-Fort Worth. We are the largest private lifeguard service in the country and dare I then say, the largest in Dallas!

Yumi and Jere were wonderful lifeguards when they guarded our end of year pool party on Wednesday June 11 from 11-2. They were in touch with me, were on time and prepared, and were very responsible and knowledgeable. I was so happy to be able to put two adults in charge of our fourth grade class party.
Based on my experience with Yumi Temple and her cohort Jere, I would highly recommend Happy Swimmers.
Thank you for a wonderful experience. So happy we used your business.
Hi Jenn.. wow today was really scary. I had to use my first aid skills on my mom! We work at the same preschool & she had an allergic reaction & went into shock! I did everything I remembered until the paramedics came.. I really can’t thank you enough for teaching me everything I needed to know!
Everything about my experience with Happy Swimmers has been amazing! From the scheduling to the fantastic teacher they sent for my 5 and 6 year old. The instructor, Emma, had to contend with 2 very different personalities along with 2 different levels of swimming experience. She was more than equipped to deal with that and gave each child unparalleled support, encouragement and instruction. I highly recommend this service to all parents that want to give their child a great experience in being water safe!
We have three kids ages 7, 4, and 2 & 1/2. This was our second year having Happy Swimmers, with instructor Trisha Commons, come teach our kids (the two oldest) to swim. I tried another company the year before I tried Happy Swimmers and although the kids learned swim safety, they were bored and did not learn how to enjoy the pool. Trisha got our son, who did not really like swimming, having fun and by the end of last year could swim the entire length of the pool on his own.
Trisha is great with the kids and is flexible in her teaching style to work with different personalities. She is able to get the kids confident in their abilities and teaches them how to swim, but also teaches them how to have fun! I will definitely be asking Happy Swimmers and Trisha to teach the kids again next year.
I have a toddler and a pool and wanted to make sure my son learned water safety. After taking some group classes last summer, I knew I wanted more one-on-one attention at our home. This summer I reviewed several in-home companies and was impressed with Happy Swimmers approach of water safety.
Trish worked with my stubborn 2-yr old 2-3 times a week. Within the first lesson he knew how to climb out of the pool and to ask permission before getting in. Although our goal was to get him water comfortable more than “swimming”, he indeed learned to swim within a few weeks. We extended our lessons and really appreciated Trish’s approach. We will sign up again next summer. Many of our friends with children happened to be present on several lessons and I expect they will also sign up next summer as well.
Hired a happy swimmers for private life guard for a party for over 200 people at my house. The lifeguard was great. She called to confirm before, came on time, and stayed later then we originally signed up because the party went over. She also showed up on time despite there being a black out that because of storms the day before. I highly recommend Happy Swimmers.

I have spent two summers working for the City of Grapevine as an outdoor lifeguard, but after going off to Baylor University my summer lifeguarding days are now with Happy Swimmers. Summer is my favorite season and that is why I love my job: I get to spend time out in the sun while providing a safe place for those in the pool wanting to enjoy the summer as well. I used to and still occasionally do babysit, which can at times have some of those same responsibilities that tie into what is expected of me as a lifeguard. On a random note, I love to draw, paint, dance, sing(if no one can hear me), take scenic hikes, and I am also a cheerleader for Baylor- Sic ‘Em! So, that’s just a little about me.and have a great day!
I serve the Dallas-Fort Worth communities of Dallas, Fort Worth, Grapevine, Arlington, among others.

For the last 5 years I have been a professional lifeguard and athlete in the US Lifeguard Association. My Favorite aspect of teaching, is to help others acquire new skills. I love being active.

4 years experience, serving DFW communities likeArlington, Fort Worth, Mansfield, Southlake
I’ve been life guarding in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for 4 years now. I’m certified to guard in shallow water, deep water, and water park settings. I’m also certified in CPR, AED, and first aid. I began working for the city of Arlington at a water park and since have guarded at various public pools, neighborhood pools, and private swim parties. I love the outdoors, swimming, and kids so life guarding is the perfect summer job for me. I’m currently attending school at The University of Mississippi; however, I look forward to my summers life guarding each year. I made some of my favorite childhood memories in the pool, so I hope to help other kids make memories of their own. Although safety is my first priority, I also strive to create a fun and happy environment at each pool I guard at!
5 years experience! General areas served: Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake, Dallas (Willing to do any DFW jobs)
Hey guys my name is Drew and I’m currently studying genetics at the University of Georgia. I’ve been a lifeguard for 5 years now! I lifeguarded at Pleasant Glade Pool in Grapevine, TX for 4 years and last summer I worked for Happy Swimmers USA in addition to shadowing doctors and taking summer classes. I love lifeguarding events because it’s rewarding to know that I’m providing a safe and fun family environment for our clients. In lifeguarding I believe that it’s extremely important to be alert and take care of minor issues before they ever become serious.
Drew is also a Lifeguard Instructor in the DFW area.
I’m a former triathlete turned lifeguard who still has a love for swimming. I strive to serve my clients to the best of my ability, whether it’s guarding or doing other tasks necessary to help the party.
I serve the DFW communities of Park Cities, Dallas, Richardson, Plano, among others.
Hello, my name is Katherine and I have been a certified Lifeguard for three years. I have previously been a guard for Brook hollow Golf Club in Dallas TX, as well as events and parties. I also babysit during the summer for families who require CPR and lifeguard certified sitters. I am currently pursuing a degree in kinesiology at Stephen F Austin, in order to become an occupational therapist. I chose to work for Happy Swimmers because I enjoy the personal aspect of guarding for events rather than overseeing hundreds of people I do not get to communicate with at club pools. Lifeguarding for events and parties is a big responsibility, and it is rewarding to know that I am there to protect the lives of those who may not have that protection without the help of Happy Swimmers.
Hello, my name is Kendrick. I’m a recently Certified American Red Cross Lifeguard. In addition to my day job, as a Fixed Income Specialist, I am an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 773 in Irving, TX. I made the decision to become a Lifeguard after completing BSA Aquatic Supervision & Water Rescue Training. I developed a love for swimming as a form of exercise following 20+ years as an amateur cyclist, and the addition of a few extra pounds. An important component of safety comes from “Being Prepared” (Scout’s Motto) for emergencies should they occur, but perhaps more practically, Prevention. I have over 6 years experience working with kids through scouting, and believe in living the 12 points of the Scout Law (ask me to recite them sometime ;). As a business professional, I strongly believe in providing excellent client service, and developing lasting relationships by treating individuals the way I expect to be treated.
In addition to the above certifications, I am Red Cross Certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED. I’m Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana and have been living in the DFW area since 1995. I completed my Bachelor’s in 1991 at University of Southwestern LA. I Eventually earned my MBA at University of Dallas in 2002. When not involved with work or scouting, you’ll likely find me either in the pool, on the bike, or thinking about one of the above. Other interest include cooking (indoors & out), geocaching, and in general pushing myself to learn and do new things; rest is good too 🙂
Having a qualified and responsible Lifeguard is very important in keeping kids and adults safe at your events. I’m very honored to be part of the Happy Swimmers Guard Staff!
I look forward to working with you!!!
I serve the DFW communities of Irving, Dallas, Arlington, Southlake, among others
3 years experience teaching swimming 🙂
Some of the communities I serve:Burleson, Cleburne, Fort Worth
Hello! I have been teachings kiddos how to swim for the past three years and I LOVE it!! I began working for a community pool in Tarrant county and then began teaching with Happy Swimmers. I teach all ages, but 3-5 year olds are my specialty. I think it is important for the child and instructor to create a relationship of trust between each other through fun and games while learning to swim safely.
Lifeguarding for Happy Swimmers is the best job I have ever had! I enjoy keeping the kids (and adults) safe and having fun while everyone enjoys the party! My guard history includes summer camp for two years, community pool, and YMCA for three years. NowI guard the campus pool at Tarleton State.
I have over 11 years of lifeguarding experience, working with youth of all ages, as well as adults. I have also worked with youth and adults with developmental disabilities. I enjoy working parties, events, pool gigs, and private gigs. I have been a swimmer since 6 months, and used to coach a swim team and teach swim lessons.
Common areas I typically serve include Burleson, Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Mansfield, Grand Prairie, North Richlamd Hills
I have been lifeguarding for over three years, and every year I still see something new, which helps keep me on my toes. I always wanted to be a doctor so in high school I thought, why not become a lifeguard since they also keep people safe? I love that lifeguarding is kind of like health. Prevention is the key. Even though I’m now studying Industrial Engineering in college, something totally not health related, I am happy to be there to give parents a peace of mind, knowing their kids are safe. I love the outdoors, and I love that lifeguarding let’s me be outdoors, this picture is from the painted desert in Arizona.
I serve the DFW communities of Dallas, Fort Worth, Richardson, Plano, among others.
Hello! I have been teaching swim lessons for three years and it is something that I truly love. Being able to see kiddos faces when they master a skill or make progress is one of the most amazing feelings for me! I have taught ages from 2 years old up to 13 so I have a wide range of experience. I currently attend the University of Oklahoma (BOOMER SOONER) and am studying Biology/Pre-Med. This summer I hope to have the chance to impact the life of your child and you, and be able to help you have the best pool experience possible!

A little bit about Christine: After working as an LAPD scientific investigator for 11 years I transitioned to completing my M.S. degree in Chemistry then followed a teaching and research path in university academics for several years. I then moved to Hawaii in 2008 where I first joined the JTA CPR/ Happy Swimmers team as a CPR/First Aid instructor. During these years I had always made a priority in volunteerism being active in the National Ski Patrol and the USC Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber. Today I reside in Houston and presently support Help America Today turning elementary aged kids into the volunteers of tomorrow through grassroots community service projects. My passion for teaching and making a positive impact on our society is why I love teaching CPR and First Aid, particularly for those never certified. I am proud to now expand into the administrative staff of the company and be a part of turning children into happy swimmers.
Common areas I serve: Dallas — Plano, Irving, Richardson, North Dallas
In addition to being a Happy Swimmers lifeguard, I also work at the Town North YMCA and the Jewish Community Center of Dallas, at which I both lifeguard and teach swim lessons. As a lifeguard I intend to always be vigilant and proactively work to keep all swimmers safe, working to preventing potential emergency situations before they even happen. I like lifeguard only events with happy swimmers because it lets me take an active part in keeping kids and swimmers safe and making sure they have a fun time while doing it! During the school year, when I am not working for Happy Swimmers I am a student at the George Washington University, majoring in political science and music.
Hello, my name is Sean Snyder and I want to share with you why I love being a lifeguard. First, and most importantly, I love the experiences I’ve had protecting and serving others. Whether it’s making sure the chairs are clean or saving a kids life in the water you always feel the appreciation for your efforts. Secondly, I’ve already saved a life and I can’t think of any better way to live than by making others feel safe. Knowing that a person is moving forward in life because I performed my job correctly is an amazing feeling. Third, my knowledge is useful outside of my profession and it makes my family and friends feel safer, what a bonus! I carry my CPR mask with me almost everywhere I go just in case a situation may arise elsewhere. You never know when your training may be needed. Finally, it is the best job I’ve ever had and I am proud of the work I do. Honestly, I couldn’t ask for more.
I serve the Dallas-Fort Worth communities of South Lake, HEB, Grapevine/Colleyville, among others
Hello! I have been lifeguarding for 1 year. I spent last summer at a summer camp in Tyler, Texas. I am excited to provide a safe and fun environment in the water as a HS lifeguard! A fun fact about me is that I can walk on my hands.
I serve the Dallas-Fort Worth communities of Plano, Richardson, Dallas, Frisco, among others
I have recently been certified as a lifeguard and I look forward to helping provide a safe atmosphere where people can have fun! What I enjoy about lifeguarding is the ability to work poolside and know that what I am doing is making a difference.
Hi, my name is Travis! I’ve been doing private swim lessons for 3 years now working with around 15-20 kids ranging from ages 4-13. I think one of the things that make me special is my ability to connect with children and get them involved and happy with being in the water. The part I like most about teaching swim lessons is seeing the face of a child light up when they do something they thought was impossible. That feeling is completely unique, I also love that I’m influencing the kids in a positive way for the rest of their life. I worked as an AVID tutor at the high school and middle school level for 3 years as well! As you can probably tell I really love to teach!
I’ve always loved swimming! The idea of becoming a lifeguard seemed like a dream! Now that I’m finally certified I’m excited to do my best and to ensure the safety of all clientele. A fun fact about me is that I learned how to swim at the age of 4 and I’ve been swimming ever since. I even ended up competing at a state level on my high school swim team! I also was in Boy Scouts till I was 18 and left as an Eagle Scout!
I serve the DFW communities of Dallas, Lewisville, Keller, Irving, Frisco, Grapevine, among others.
I have 3 years of lifeguard experience.
I started teaching swim lessons when I was 16, since I had just learned how to swim I understand the fear of the water. Not only that but with 4 years of experience now I can confidently say I can teach children how to relax in the water and then take it further from there. I want to be able to build a strong foundation in swimming with anyone I teach, and watch as it blossoms into a hobby or even a passion. A fun fact was that just last summer I two of the seven year old kids I had qualified for TAAF State Championship.
I’m looking to make an impact on the life’s of the people I meet. I want to be able to provide not only a fun but safe environment for everyone this summer. I enjoy the opportunity to be a role model for not only what a lifeguard should be, but what everyone should be in the water. Funny enough I didn’t learn how to swim in till I was 15 and now the water is a second home for me.
I serve the Dallas-Fort Worth communities of Dallas, Forth Worth, Arlington, South lake, and Richardson, among others.
