Orange County (OC) and Inland Empire Lifeguard for Hire Service
Our Orange County and Inland Empire Private Lifeguard Service comes to you for children’s pool parties and corporate events.
Happy Swimmers has served Orange County families since 1995. Hundreds of parties later, one thing is certain: the hosts were happy and wise to have had us. There were seven instances last summer where our professional lifeguards needed to make urgent interventions into the pool at parties we served.
Our remarkable service was even highlighted on NBC4 News!
All staff are Red Cross certified Lifeguards with at least one year experience (no first-timers to guard your kids). Most have several years lifeguard experience and at high volume locations. Wherever there is a pool involved in Orange County (and many other areas), we have staff ready to serve you professionally to maintain a safe and fun environment.
We are the largest private lifeguard service in the country, and with that comes a management team and lifeguard staff to fill your needs. Our rates are on the booking page. We price guarantee our service. If you see a better price out there with our same high quality standards, we will match it. We pay our staff the best rates going, and have a track record of reliability with our staff, which gives us the lowest flaking rate by far of any professional lifeguard company. With a pool full of kids, we don’t want you wondering if the guard will show.
Price for up to 3 hours is $189 per lifeguard. Over 3 hours add $25/half hour per lifeguard. Feel free to keep the guards over your original booking pending their schedule. Our office will bill you. The booking form on the next page will easily calculate your cost based on your party length and amount of lifeguards. We’re a cheap alternative to an accident. Just recently, one guard made 4 rescues to children at a busy party. Think their parents thought he was worth it?
Do we serve your area for lifeguarding? The short answer: yes. The Cities we serve in OC include: Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach, Laguna, San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Tustin, Orange, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Fullerton, Yorba Linda, La Habra, La Habra Heights, Hacienda Heights, Whittier, and now serving the Inland Empire of Riverside and San Bernadino Counties!

Yumi and Jere were wonderful lifeguards when they guarded our end of year pool party on Wednesday June 11 from 11-2. They were in touch with me, were on time and prepared, and were very responsible and knowledgeable. I was so happy to be able to put two adults in charge of our fourth grade class party.
Based on my experience with Yumi Temple and her cohort Jere, I would highly recommend Happy Swimmers.
Thank you for a wonderful experience. So happy we used your business.
Hi Jenn.. wow today was really scary. I had to use my first aid skills on my mom! We work at the same preschool & she had an allergic reaction & went into shock! I did everything I remembered until the paramedics came.. I really can’t thank you enough for teaching me everything I needed to know!
Everything about my experience with Happy Swimmers has been amazing! From the scheduling to the fantastic teacher they sent for my 5 and 6 year old. The instructor, Emma, had to contend with 2 very different personalities along with 2 different levels of swimming experience. She was more than equipped to deal with that and gave each child unparalleled support, encouragement and instruction. I highly recommend this service to all parents that want to give their child a great experience in being water safe!
We have three kids ages 7, 4, and 2 & 1/2. This was our second year having Happy Swimmers, with instructor Trisha Commons, come teach our kids (the two oldest) to swim. I tried another company the year before I tried Happy Swimmers and although the kids learned swim safety, they were bored and did not learn how to enjoy the pool. Trisha got our son, who did not really like swimming, having fun and by the end of last year could swim the entire length of the pool on his own.
Trisha is great with the kids and is flexible in her teaching style to work with different personalities. She is able to get the kids confident in their abilities and teaches them how to swim, but also teaches them how to have fun! I will definitely be asking Happy Swimmers and Trisha to teach the kids again next year.
I have a toddler and a pool and wanted to make sure my son learned water safety. After taking some group classes last summer, I knew I wanted more one-on-one attention at our home. This summer I reviewed several in-home companies and was impressed with Happy Swimmers approach of water safety.
Trish worked with my stubborn 2-yr old 2-3 times a week. Within the first lesson he knew how to climb out of the pool and to ask permission before getting in. Although our goal was to get him water comfortable more than “swimming”, he indeed learned to swim within a few weeks. We extended our lessons and really appreciated Trish’s approach. We will sign up again next summer. Many of our friends with children happened to be present on several lessons and I expect they will also sign up next summer as well.
Hired a happy swimmers for private life guard for a party for over 200 people at my house. The lifeguard was great. She called to confirm before, came on time, and stayed later then we originally signed up because the party went over. She also showed up on time despite there being a black out that because of storms the day before. I highly recommend Happy Swimmers.

Hi everyone, I’m Abbey. I love Lifeguarding because my happy place is in the water, I love people, and I try to spend as much time as possible outside. I have been Lifeguarding since High School, and I now work full time at Pepperdine University managing the Lifeguards and events etc. at the pool there.
Hello! My name is Aeryn. I have been a lifeguard for 5 years as well as a swim instructor. I have grown up around pools and was a competitive swimmer for almost 10 years. I enjoy lifeguarding because I get to be around water activities and I get to meet people that love the water as much as I do. As a guard I hope to provide a safe environment for everyone of all ages to have fun! A fun fact about myself is that I have swam the span of the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco to Marin.
I have waterfront experience too!
I serve the SF Bay Area and OC/Inland Empire communities of Petaluma, Sonoma, Santa Rosa, Marin/Redlands, Yucaipa, Rancho Cucamonga, Palm Springs, among others.
I’ve lifeguarded for several different facilities both in SoCal and NorCal and enjoyed the learning experience from it! I genuinely enjoy lifeguarding because of the difference we make in preventing life threatening situations. A fun fact about me is I both play and coach competitive water polo at the college and high school level currently, so I guess its nice to learn the game from both perspectives.
I serve the LA and OC communities of Montebello, Anaheim, Pomona, Pasadena, among others.
10 years experience swim teaching!
General Areas I serve: Orange County base and closer L.A. County areas.
In my ten years as a swim instructor I have taught swim lessons to children of all ages, adults learning to swim for the first time, and adults taking lessons to improve technique. I have experience with students with special needs, stroke work, and water polo. My favorite part of teaching swim lessons is seeing my swimmers become more confident in the water and their abilities. I was a competitive swimmer for twelve years and played Water Polo through High School. I speak French, and I am Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certified.
My favorite thing about Event Lifeguarding is the opportunity to be a part of your special day! I have ten years of lifeguard experience including open water, summer camp, water park, and poolside. I am also a swim instructor and have many years of experience working with children.
As an event lifeguard I’d like to not only provide a safe environment for our clients I’d like to also provide a positive and fun environment. Possibly one factor I’d enjoy most about lifeguarding events is being around kids and seeing that they’re having fun knowing that they’re safe.
I serve the OC communities of Corona, Riverside, Ontario, Irvine, among others
HAPPY SWIMMERS BREATH OF LIFE AWARD RECIPIENT In July of 2017, Beth is credited with saving an adult swimmer at a pool party who went unconscious in the pool, and needed CPR for 10 minutes. Our deep gratitude to Beth and her fine service.
I’ve spent the past 8 years planning and supervising pool parties for children. This is my 1st summer as a certified lifeguard!
When lifeguarding, Safety is always first. I enjoy supervising events and watching people smile, laugh and play! I grew up in Florida and know that this type of environment is good for the soul and spirit. Many years I’d spend water skiing on the lake, surfing in the ocean or snorkeling at the springs. When I am not lifeguarding an event I can be found at the creek, the waterfall or participating in a water aerobics class. I also enjoy lap swimming and listening to my I-Pod at the Aquatic Center. Being around people and water is so natural for me!
I serve the Inland Empire and Orange County communities of Fontana, Redlands, Rancho Cucamonga, Pasadena, Upland, and Glendora, among others.
I have taught children ages 3-18 with varying skill sets and comfort levels successfully for several years now. I take pride in making clients feel comfortable and safe at all times and always try to incorporate fun into each lesson.

Swim Instructor Bio:
Teaching swim lessons is rewarding because you are essentially saving a kid’s life by teaching them how to be safe in and around the water. Nothing is better than seeing a child progress over a short amount of time from being a non-swimmer to a proficient swimmer. I have 12+ years of competitive swimming underneath my belt and have many tools to work with children of all ages and abilities to teach them how to become better swimmers themselves. In my spare time I like to go to the beach and surf, because I can’t stay away from water!
I have been lifeguarding for the past 4 years at many different locations throughout the Orange County area, and for the college that I attend. My experiences as a lifeguard and a collegiate swimmer have taught me to notice which kids are strong swimmers and which kids are not, that way I am able to keep a closer watch on those that are not as strong of swimmers. While lifeguarding I remain focused and on high alert at all times to be ready for anything. I have experience lifeguarding busy public pools and watching kids of all ages.
Common areas I serve: La Palma, Cerritos, Cypress, Lakewood, Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Buena Park, Anaheim areas

Event Lifeguard Bio: From my first big swim in the Pacific, and subsequent pummeling from an unexpected wave, I have loved lifeguards. I became a Jr. Lifeguard at age 7 after my unfortunate tossing in the white water, and began to understand the importance of water safety. The foundational learning of this program gave me the passion for ocean and pool awareness I have today. During my formative years, I began to play water polo and lifeguard after practice for our school’s younger swimmers. I continued to play competitively in college and became a Jr. Guard Instructor as well as an Ocean Lifeguard. My love of the water has stayed with me even when I became a Zookeeper after earning my bachelor’s, where I swam for exercise. The observational skills and preventative efforts I practiced daily when caring for Orangutans and Harbor Seals helped maintain my lifeguarding prowess. When I became a researcher of Orangutans in Indonesia and began my graduate schooling, I knew event lifeguarding would be a great way to support my education while honing my observational techniques. Scanning the trees for primate behaviors is perfect practice for scanning the water area for potentially distressed swimmers and vice versa. I love all primates, humans included, and I will work hard to keep all of them safe and happy- inside the water and out!
Advanced certifications: Open Water Lifeguard Experience, Scuba cert
Swim Instructor Bio:
15+ years experience teaching swimming! Christina generally serves Santa Monica and the Westside, from the Ocean to West Hollywood Hills.
She says: The moment I see swimming “click” in a student, I feel a wave of happiness- their giant smile glowing, where once a timid or nervous excitement challenged their own self-confidence. I have seen hundreds of these smiles, from young ones to golden aged students, and it never fails to fill me with a sense of purpose.
I try to apply all my years of teaching swimmers to each and every new student’s learning abilities. What may work for one does not always transfer. When I was a zookeeper, I learned that positive reinforcement is the best and least stressful way to teach even the most stubborn tiger or sea lion to accept medical treatments, and swim beautifully (even the tiger!). Hopefully, none of my human trainees will be as tough, but I am up for the challenge!
As a Master’s student in Anthropology, I have learned to apply my observational skills to the pool too. Knowing how a student can adapt to the new challenge of swimming is not unlike understanding how different cultures learn to adapt to societies’ challenges.
I plan to use all my various experiences from Jr. Lifeguard instructor, Beach Lifeguard, Zookeeper, and Grad school to influence the unique and focused attention I will give while teaching a new swimmer.
Everyone deserves the ability to enjoy swimming and feel confident too. I can’t wait to welcome others into the water 🙂
4 years experience, Serving communities like Los Angeles, Sherman Oaks, Anaheim, Lake Forest
-Currently pursuing ADT to obtain a BS in Kinesiology -Lifeguard for Via Verde Country Club and Deane Homes Swim Club -Hobbies include: surfing, spearfishing, scuba diving, camping, and playing the piano -Priorities when lifeguarding: (1)Safety and (2)Making sure everyone has a good time
I have been instructing swim lessons and lifeguarding for 4 years. I learned how to swim very young in Hawaii and continued swimming all the way until college when I received my lifeguard certification. I was fortunate enough to become an Eagle Scout and teach swimming in the Boy Scouts of America. After joining the Marine Corps I completed my certification for Marine Corps Instructor of Water Survival which is my current occupation. Within the Marine Corps I have been extensively trained in many different water survival and swimming techniques. I enjoy the outdoors and the I feel as though the beach is my second home. The thing I like most about teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding is knowing that I am teaching a skill to others that will potentially save their life one day.
Advanced LG certs: Waterfront lifeguard, Ocean Lifeguard Experience, Wilderness First Aid.
Hi, I’m Coco! I have been a swim instructor for a few years now, but have been working with kids for most of my life. It all started in Girl Scouts when I got to host my first event. I loved the energy the kids brought to the table, and from that moment, I knew I had to work with them. Experience in Girl Scouts helped me become a babysitter/nanny and camp counselor, and has eventually led me to teaching swim. Being a swim instructor seemed natural for me because I swam competitively in high school and love being in the water, as well as working with people. My favorite part about teaching swim is watching the child progress. The pride and excitement in their eyes when they finally master a skill they had been struggling with is priceless :~). A fun fact about me is that my favorite animal is the polar bear and I could talk your ear off for hours about why they’re so fascinating!
I became a lifeguard in high school and am now in my second year of college. I wanted to be lifeguard because I love swimming so much that didn’t want to be away from the pool while I was out of the water! I am also very concerned with safety ever since I took my very first CPR class with my Girl Scout troop. The instructor inspired me to continue on in my safety education and become AED and First Aid certified, and then eventually become a lifeguard and get my emergency oxygen distribution and blood borne pathogens certifications. I believe that people should have only good experiences in the water, and want to do everything I can to make that happen. I hope that everyone is able to enjoy the pool regardless of their skill level, and always feel safe in the water. A fun fact about me is that I love rock climbing!
I serve the OC, Inland Empire, and San Diego communities of Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, and Orange, among others.
14 years experience as a lifeguard! General areas I serve: Los Angeles, Pasadena, Bel Air, Westwood
I swam and played water polo for 12 years. I competed and won national tournaments in both sports. I swam and played for the Commerce Club Team and played and swam in Bell Gardens High School. Every year since I graduated I have worked as a life guard either full or part time. I have been around water since I was 8 years young and I know the worry that parents have over having someone professional looking after their kids that they can trust. I take my job very seriously and enjoy giving parents a day off where they can enjoy themselves knowing that a professional is taking care of their kids.
–Thank you Daniel for being such a pro! We love you!

Hello! My name is Dustin, I have been a certified lifeguard for over a year now with two years of swim instruction under my belt. I have been playing water polo for almost ten years so I am very comfortable in the water even in stressful situations. Growing up with four younger siblings and a pool in our backyard, I have always been very cautious and pay close attention to the people in the water and I will do the same with anybody I am assigned to lifeguard.
I am a Swim instructor who has taught lessons for 4 years. I enjoy teaching because I too learn something new each time I give a swim lesson. Swimming is therapeutic to me and I enjoy sharing the therapy with others.
Hi, I’m Edson, a watermen who has been involved in water safety for the last 8 years. I have worked with different departments in the LA area. I enjoy working together with people so that everyone can enjoy a hot summer day at the beach, lake and or pool.
Edson is game to travel just about anywhere in Southern CA, we kid you not. He is passionate about guarding and has taken difficult to fill jobs off the beaten track to keep kids safe. 🙂
I started lifeguarding at summer camp in Big Bear California for 2 years and became head lifeguard there. A safe swimmer is a confident swimmer. I am also an LA-based actor and director.

I have been a swim instructor for a little over 4 years now and absolutely love it. I have worked with kids as young as 3 to adults as old as 60. I love teaching people skills that they will use for the rest of their lives, and for them to have the assurance that they will be safe in the water. I have been competitively swimming from 4th grade through 12th grade.
I have been a lifeguard for about 4 years now, and while guarding I love the fact that I am able to help people by keeping them safe while they have fun.

I’m a professional ski coach, working my winters in Jackson Hole WY and living for the summers in South Pasadena, and I love working with children and teenagers especially in sporting and active environments where fun is paramount. I kid you not, John is on our list of lifeguards from anywhere in L.A. down to San Diego. Boy does he get around, and does a great job too.
I am a Junior at Carlsbad High School. I play football and lacrosse for CHS. I am an accomplished athlete and student. I enjoy lifeguarding and rescue services. I plan on either joining the military service or studying criminology and becoming a police officer or a first responder.
2 years experience, traveling generally in the areas of Irvine, Costa Mesa, Huntington, Newport
The water has been my happy place since as far back as I can remember, but being from the Pacific Northwest, the weather wasn’t always the most accepting of my true love. So I decided at a young age I was going to go to SoCal for college, where I can be in the water year round. With this passion of mine, getting my lifeguard certification was an obvious choice, which I obtained as soon as I started school in California. I have now been a practicing lifeguard for the last year and a half, and I can proudly say I made a great choice choosing to get my certification. It has been nothing but rewarding and wonderful and I look forward to continuing my lifeguard career.
I have been a lifeguard for 9 years.
I serve the Los Angeles communities of Pasadena, Hollywood, Westwood, Beverly Hills, among others.

I have been lifeguarding for 10 years.I have been lifeguarding for 10 years. I love the water and enjoy making sure others are safe while they have fun in the water too. Over the past decade, I have truly come to see the responsibility that comes with being a lifeguard and it is a responsibility I take very seriously. I love having fun in the pool but safety first- always. I have performed multiple real rescues to both children and adults.
10 years experience! Typical areas I serve include Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Fountain Valley
As a life-long water lover and former competitive swimmer, I’ve taught all-aged kids how to swim (pools, lakes, rivers and ocean) prior to becoming a professional swim instructor. Raised in Orange County, California/Costa Mesa resident and a mother of two grown children, my passion and joy over the years have been extremely rewarding. I celebrate with my students as we work together to conquer their fears and coach them to success in reaching goals of a strong, safer swimmer. I provide self-rescuing skills that they will carry with them throughout their lifetime! My approach is simple: build trust, teach in a loving, nurturing, fun and encouraging environment with an eye toward a new challenge and goal with each lesson. Swim Bio: Hello, my name is Armando. I am a Hispanic male i am 5’10 and weigh about 175. I am very athletic and love to exercise. I’ve played many sports throughout my youth. I swam and played water polo throughout high school. I also played other sports outside of school such as soccer, football, and baseball. I began to lifeguard my first year after high school. I taught swim lessons to kids from the ages of 5-12. I really enjoyed working with the kids, they always made my day. It’s truly an amazing feeling knowing you played a big part in teaching a child a valuable lesson that goes a long way. Swimming is a life skill you must learn in my opinion sort of like riding a bike. I take great passion in what I do and safety always comes first.
Lifeguarding in the Summer is one of the best jobs for a college student I believe. What’s more fun then being by the water and soaking in the sun in the midst of Summer? I remember going to the pool every summer and talking to the lifeguards. I always thought they looked so cool and what kid didn’t want to be cool? I have guarded for a little more then a year now and I can honestly say I love it knowing the importance of saving one’s life or being able to prevent a terrible accident is a very important job. Makes you feel like a bit of a hero.
I have been lifeguarding with Happy Swimmers for 8 years now and have worked events from Santa Barbara to Orange County. I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in Finance and am working toward getting my Doctorate in Physical Therapy within the next 4 years. I love to play all sports when I am not studying or working, and enjoy spending time with my family. As a lifeguard, I think it’s extremely important to gain the trust of our clients and let them know that we are there to provide a safe environment for everyone in the pool and on the deck so that they can truly enjoy their party.
I am an American Red Cross certified Lifeguard and Nationally registered (NREMT) and the State of California registered Emergency Medical Technician.

I serve the Orange County communities of Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Irvine, Long Beach, among others
I have had 2 years professional lifeguarding experience.
I have been a lifeguard since I was in high school and liked the idea of being someone’s “hero” in severe situations. I have never personally had any encounters where I had to save an endangered life, as I focus on prevention, but I know when the time comes I will be prepared to tackle the situation head-on.
I serve the Orange County communities of Irvine, rancho santa margarita, South LA, and Oceanside, among others.
I began teaching swimming lessons five years ago! I have taught group and private swimming lessons at a private country club in Georgia. I then started teaching swimming lessons for Whittier College here in California, last summer. I really enjoyed teaching that Sports Camp at Whittier College because not only did my kids have fun, but I did too! I have been teaching private and group swimming lessons at my local YMCA in Whittier since August of last year. I also teach private and group lessons for babies and parents and special needs. I love teaching swimming lessons because I want the children to love the water as much as I do! My absolute favorite part about teaching swimming lessons is watching the children improve. Knowing that I taught those kids how to swim the correct way is my whole motive!
I began lifeguarding five summers ago at a private country club in Georgia and that is where my love for lifeguarding emerged! I lifeguarded at that country club for three years before I moved here, to California, where I began lifeguarding at Whittier College for the summer! I loved lifeguarding there because they had diving boards and a very deep end which made things a bit more interesting in a day’s work! I have been lifeguarding at my local YMCA since August of last year and it has truly been awesome getting to know the patrons that spend so much of their time coming to the Y, just like me. My intentions when I guard are always to keep the people in and around the water as safe as possible. What I enjoy most about lifeguarding for private events is the closeness and respect I always receive from the hosts and guests. They’re always so grateful and kind to me for my services and that makes me very happy to do my job!
I serve the LA/OC communities of Sherman Oaks, Fullerton, Yorba Linda, Whittier, among others.
When I was younger I almost drowned at my community pool, but luckily there was a lifeguard there to prevent that from happening. This experience was what triggered my passion for water sports and the reason why I decided to become certified as a lifeguard. I want everyone to enjoy being in the water while also staying safe at the same time.
Hi I’m Raimy! I have been a swim instructor for 4 years total and a certified WSI (Water Safety Instructor) for 2 years. I love teaching swim lessons because it is such an important skill to learn in life and truly saves so many lives. I am very patient with new and/or scared swimmers. At a young age, I was a very fearful child in the water myself. I can empathize with a child who may be fearful and work past their uncertainties and get them swimming as quickly as possible!
I have 4 years of lifeguarding experience, anywhere from private pool parties to private swim lessons. I love lifeguarding for special events, because it gives every parent who may have a young swimmer, peace of mind knowing there is an extra set of eyes making sure their child is safe in and around a pool!
I serve the OC communities of Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Long Beach, among others.
I have been around water as long as I can remember. From learning to swim in my grandmother’s pool, to playing water polo, and finally becoming a lifeguard. I have been camp counselor for my church and the YMCA, so I know how to make sure that kids have fun in a safe way. In my one year of lifeguarding I have performed 2 rescues. I attend UC Santa Cruz where I am pursuing a future in Marine Biology.
I serve the LA and OC communities of Pasadena, Arcadia, greater Los Angeles area, San Fernando Valley, among others.
Fun fact about me, I have worked all the Disney Pools in Southern California hundreds of times! I have 4 years experience as a Lifeguard Employed by the Disneyland Resort. I have a solid proactive scan to ensure the safety of everyone in the pool.
I serve the OC communities of Yorba Linda, Huntington Beach, Rancho Santa Margarita, among others
Have a strong background in lifeguarding and this will be my third year working with Happy Swimmers. I love my job and I love playing with kids. I cant wait for the summer to get back to those fun events. What I like the most about life-guarding is the fact that I can save people’s lives and make them have fun safely.
Serving the areas surrounding San Francisco, Daly City, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach for 3 years as a lifeguard.
I started Lifeguarding in high school at age 16 for the City of Huntington Beach and became a Water Safety Instructor as well. After 2 years, I moved to San Francisco for college and became a Lifeguard and Safety Officer for the Waterpolo team at my school. Each summer I go back to Huntington Beach and work for the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa as a Lifeguard. I really enjoy Lifeguarding, especially the rewarding feeling that you get when you actually do need to help someone! Something that sets me apart from other Lifeguards is the fact that when I’m not teaching swim lessons or lifeguarding, I’m usually teaching surf lessons or surfing myself!
Hello, I’m Steven I am new to lifeguarding yet however I see this as a stepping stone as to becoming a beach lifeguard. As of right now I don’t really have a fond moment of lifeguard events, given that I’m new to all this. On the other hand, I am very excited to start making those moments.
I serve the Orange County communities of Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar, Irvine, among others
I have been a swim instructor for two years. I have taught numerous people from infants, kids, teens, adults and even tri-atheletes. Many swimmers I have recently worked with have been the younger kids – infant to four or five – and have picked up a little bit of a specialty working with those who are special needs kids.
I have been an EMT and a lifeguard for three and a half years, I have worked on the beach front for a school in Southern California and at multiple pools in SoCal, and work as a standby EMT lifeguard for special events. I like to meet new people and have fun guarding while keeping people safe. I want to get into the Fire Department as a paramedic and lifeguarding is a good way to learn and be ready for anything that could arise.
I have experience as a Waterfront Lifeguard as well.
I serve the Orange County/Inland Empire communities of Mission Viejo, Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Corona Del Mar, among others.
General areas I serve: Riverside (and surrounding cities), Orange County, Redlands, San Clemente
Swim Instructor Bio:
I have been teaching swim lessons for the last 6 years and continue to do so. I have taught lessons at the community pool, for local swim teams, and for Happy Swimmers. I am currently the head coach of Indian Hills Swim Team in Jurupa Valley. I have been a swimmer for 17 years and my specialty is backstroke. I swam for CBU for all four years and my best events were the 50, 100, 200 back, 50 and 100 free, and the 200 and 400 IM. I absolutely love passing my knowledge down to the next generation, especially in the regards of competition. I do believe that EVERYONE should be water safe, but it is my goal to pass on my love of this growing sport.
I first began as a small community pool guard for one year. I then began working for my local school district and assisting at local parties of friends. I took a break from guarding to focus more on lessons and coaching swim until I began working for Happy Swimmers, whom I have happily worked with for the last 3 years. My number one goal in guarding is safety. I believe if an issue can be dealt with or addressed before it happens, it is far less likely to occur. The best thing about any job is interacting with the children. Parties are intended to be fun and I fully encourage it as long as it is safe.
I have been guarding for 10 years and have enjoyed teaching people about water safety. I like to prevent emergencies from happening and enjoy being around all type of folks! I am a Lifeguard Instructor and have a Waterfront lifeguarding additional cert (Lakes, rivers etc). Home turf: Redlands, and the Inland Empire, but I am willing to travel to OC, San Diego and LA.
Hi, my name is Will and I am currently a student at USC majoring in neuroscience. I love the water, so much so that I’ve decided to become a lifeguard to help ensure others can enjoy it safety and happily. I rowed crew for USC, along with high school water polo for 4 years, so I am no stranger to swimming and water safety. A fun fact about myself: I’m probably in the gym more often than I’m not.
I serve the Los Angeles & Orange County communities of Pasadena Area, West LA, San Fernando Valley, among others.
