I am certified in CPR, Lifeguard Training and First Aid. I have taught swimming lessons for four years for a local community pool along with private lessons. I enjoy teaching children of all ages and levels, but have the gift of connecting with beginners. I believe swimming is all about comfort, trust, and fun! As an instructor, I strive to make children enjoy while learning to ensure the best experience!

Specialties: Children 0-10. I have been teaching for 4 years and lifeguarding for 6. Currently, I am a Lead Swim Instructor at the University of Maryland’s Learn-to-Swim program. I have worked at all types of pools and facilities and taught classes ranging from infants to adults and from beginning to advanced. My favorite stroke is the breast stroke.
