We started teaching Los Angeles swim lessons and Valley Swim Lessons privately back in 1991, with 22 clients. Over the years, our client list has grown to over 400 annually, with thousands of children happily swimming.
Where do we do our LA swim lessons? We come to your home pool, exclusively, covering the communities of
Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, West LA, Culver City, Marina Del Rey, Brentwood, Bel Air, Westwood, Beverly Hills, Beverlywood, West Hollywood, Hollywood, Hancock Park, and Los Feliz. With Special arrangement, we also serve the Long Beach and Palos Verdes area. Please contact us if your area is not above and you wonder if we can serve you.
Swim Lesson Availability for my area:
• If you enroll in April or May, getting your lesson preferences are usually no problem
• If you enroll in June, please do so as early in the month as possible, and have some greater flexibility of times and days that would work.
• If you enroll in July, please be flexible on your times, and/or know that some early season clients will finish and open up time slots for you to take. Ask our office.
• Other times of the year, we may serve you, just ask.

San Fernando Valley Side Swim Lessons
Happy Swimmers Swim Lessons at Home began in 1991 from a small office in Encino, serving 22 clients around the Valley. Over the years, our client list and area served has grown to over 400 families over 5 states, with thousands of children happily swimming.
We teach swim lessons exclusively at client provided pools. This can be a home pool, or a home owners or condo association pool. We are liability insured at any pool we use.
We serve the whole Valley. Listed here are the specific areas: Calabasas, Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Toluca Lake, Burbank, Chatsworth, Canoga Park, Porter Ranch, Granada Hills, Reseda, North Hills, Van Nuys and Valley Village. We also serve North into Santa Clarita and Stevenson Ranch, and Westward to Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks, and in some cases Camarillo and Ventura.

Swim Lesson Tip:
Floaties – These devices actually retard a child’s progress for proper swimming. Though parents use these with good intentions, the problem lies in that floaties are designed to keep the child vertical in the water, and a bent leg kick is then developed to navigate around the pool. When floaties are taken off, the child instinctively tries to kick the same way, and this kick forces her down under water and even greater fear sets in. Children who’ve not used floaties tend to learn about two to three times faster than the floaties kids. Not surprisingly this disclaimer is never found on the carton of floaties at the store.
