Happy Swimmers started teaching at-home swim lessons in 1991 in Los Angeles, with 22 clients. In 1995 we began serving Orange County. Over the years, our client list has grown to over 400 per year, with thousands of children happily swimming.
Do we serve your Orange County area for private swimming lessons? The short answer: most likely. The cities we serve in Orange County (OC) for swim lessons include:: Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach, Laguna, San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Tustin, Orange, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Fullerton, Yorba Linda, La Habra, La Habra Heights, Hacienda Heights, Whittier, and by special request Long Beach. If I’ve missed your city, please ask.
Swim Lesson Tip:
Keep your pool temperature warm for lessons. 86 degrees minimum, 90-94 ideal, says the United States Swim School Association, an organization of over 250 swim schools nationwide. Because of the liquid medium, a pool feels about 20 degrees cooler than air temperature to a child. A 90 degree pool is like 70 degree air. The focus should be on learning well, and shivering and blue lips make for less effective learning.
