New York City Tri-State Lifeguard for Hire Service (NYC Lifeguard for Hire)
Lifeguard Service
Serving the Tri-State Area: NJ, NYC, Long Island, & CT
New York City Tri-State Lifeguard for Hire Services–We are mobile throughout all New York Metro.  Westchester Co, Rockland Co,  and  Jersey to Greenwich and out Long Island (both Nassau and Suffolk Counties)
It’s smart to hire a lifeguard for a party, and we’re the company to serve you. Here’s a little about us:
Happy Swimmers New York City Tri-State Lifeguard for Hire began in 1991 in Los Angeles, and over the 30 years of our business, we’ve expanded to many metro areas nationwide, with the aim of truly preventing many of the drownings and near-drowning accidents we’ve read about in the news. In 2009 we started service in New York. We are the largest, oldest lifeguard for hire service in the country.
Why hire us over another lifeguard company or even the kid down the street? – We are the only lifeguard for hire company that protects you with our insurance for PROFESSIONAL as well as general liability insurance.  Most swim companies carry the minimum general liability (slips and falls) but they don’t carry the more comprehensive professional liability coverage.  God forbid, if an accident happens no matter who’s at fault, you want your guard(s) properly insured for you.  Would you drive a car without proper insurance or go to a doctor who you found didn’t carry malpractice insurance to cut corners?  We cover you and your event, so you can enjoy the party.  Additionally, know that freelancers are completely uninsured. Who checks their criminal backgrounds and lifeguard certification status? Our staff is professionally checked for these. We hire the cream of the crop with the best experience, and with us, you have a team of managers and a company to back you up if that guard flakes.
Price for up to 3 hours is $239 for the first lifeguard. Need additional lifeguards? They are at a $15 discount each for $224.  Over 3 hours add $28.50/half hour per lifeguard.  Feel free to keep the guards over your original booking pending their schedule.  Our office will bill you.  The booking form on the next page will easily calculate your cost based on your party length and amount of lifeguards.  We’re a cheap alternative to an accident.  Just recently, one guard made 4 rescues to children at a busy party.  Think their parents thought he was worth it?
We welcome you to our New York City Tri-State Lifeguard for Hire service by Happy Swimmers! See you poolside.

Allen Clare, Lifeguard, Swim Instructor
Bronx
15 years experience!
Serving the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut areas of Greater NYC.
Ever since a child I was always in the water. Being born in urban New York City my mother wanted me to learn how to swim. After completing all the learn to swim program levels, I decided to push myself further and become a lifeguard. Though I enjoy guarding, however my heart remains primarily as an instructor. Being able to positively change a child’s life, give them confidence in and out of the water is priceless. These are all things I wish to instill in my students, as well as my own son.
Being a lifeguard has been one of the most exciting jobs I’ve had in my life. Not only because it is a great responsibility but as well for the fun. A good lifeguard should always stand for safety, fun and being a good role model. All of which I can I promise to uphold.
Proud Parent to a beautiful son.

I love the sense of doing a good job. Knowing that you’re the one keeping those people safe! That your skill set could be called into action at a moments notice and your adrenaline will be pumping before you have a chance to blink. The satisfaction of knowing you’re going home having helped someone whether that be simply by keeping them safe or you have actually made a rescue fills you with pride knowing that you did that and you may well possibly have changed someone’s life.

At the tender young age of just 4 years old I would swim on my own!
I’ve been lifeguarding for the last 8 years and teaching swim lessons for the last 5. I always keep a fun and safe environment for my patrons and love to see a smile on their faces after a job well done. Event lifeguarding is so much fun and you meet so many new and interesting people.

Spartak, Lifeguard for Hire and Universal free-spirit
Arrochar
The 5 years worth of experience at luxury residential buildings, has exposed me to a variety of individuals of all backgrounds. The variety both in my personal life, and my work keeps my happiness and ambitions high; the mundane is of little interest to me. Lifeguarding allows me to constantly learn, expose myself to the new and striving for the spontaneous. “Carpe diem”
I serve the NYC metro areas of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, among others.Â

Stephanie, East Coast Lifeguard Assignment Manager and Pack of Jac’s mom
My background is in the legal profession working as a legal secretary for many years. I stopped working to raise two children who are now young adults. My daughter is a teacher in the Portland school district, and my son is an artist who lives on the East coast. For the last twenty-four years, I worked as a Special Education Assistant in the Los Angeles Unified School District. For twenty of those years, I worked with at-risk students and students with special needs at the secondary level. These students resided in a residential facility, and I worked closely not only with the entire school staff but with the social workers and staff at the residential placement. I am excited to be part of the Management Team of Happy Swimmers and look forward to working with you.
