We have $2 million in insurance, hire top qualified people, lifeguard certified of course, background and reference checked and have a full administrative staff to back our operation.

The Heat is on in Miami! The most popular tourist destination in the world reflects the unique, vibrant and culturally rich communities in the southern tip of Florida. A tropical paradise first explored by the Spaniards, Miami has become the hot spot of Florida, and we serve it all. The colorful and playful architecture reflects the diversity of the Latin American culture that Miami is so well known for.  Communities such as Coral Gables, South Beach, Little Havana, Miami Shores and North Miami Beach celebrate their diversity through the foods, worship, and recreation opportunities. Families can paddle through the mangrove swamps or over a sunken treasure ship in nearby John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Swimming with a dolphin, offshore fishing, or collecting seashells at a beach party in Crandon Park Beach are some of the memories made in South Florida.

Happy Swimmers is as unique, vibrant and diverse as the communities we service. With extensive experience, our lifeguards and swim instructors respect and relate to the rich cultures of the Miami area. Whether it’s being able to converse in the Spanish language (some of our staff are Spanish speaking) or being cognizant of cultural values, Happy Swimmers believes that it’s the personal relationship formed with the client that makes the difference!

Find lifeguards for hire through us in South Florida, providing the best experience for protecting swimmers at your pool party or corporate event.  It’s smart to hire a lifeguard for a party, and we’re the company to help you make your next pool party the safest possible.

We work in many South Florida’s cities, with the aim of preventing many of the drownings and near-drowning accidents that are common in unsupervised swimming pools during the outdoor pool party season. Including a tip of the hat to Coral Springs, FL, the backyard pool capital of the world–we want to keep you all safe!  We are the largest private lifeguard service in the country, and locally serve the Miami and Ft. Lauderdale area with a dedicated staff of professional guards, many of them pictured below.  Thanks for coming to Happy Swimmers, now in our 27th year of saving lives!

Price for up to 3 hours is $219 for the first lifeguard.  Additional lifeguards are $204 each.  Over 3 hours add $28.50/half hour per lifeguard.  Feel free to keep the guards over your original booking time pending their schedule.  Our office will bill you.  The booking form on the next page will easily calculate your cost based on your party length and amount of lifeguards.  We’re a cheap alternative to an accident.  Just recently, one guard made 4 rescues to children at a busy party.  Think their parents thought he was worth it?

Thank you, Lifeguard Instructor, Kimberly Lytle, for your contribution expressing the colorfulness of South Florida.

Andrew Cambron, Event Lifeguard and SCUBA Diver

I was a lifeguard at the YMCA for ten months and during this time I made several rescues and received a lifeguard of the year award. I am currently in the process of becoming a lifeguard for Hollywood Beach Ocean Rescue. My intention is guarding is to make sure that the people that I am watching over are having fun in a safe environment. What I like most about lifeguarding events is the flexible schedule.

David Marino, Swim Instructor, Lifeguard & Motivational Speaker

As a Miami Beach native, I’ve been enjoying our beaches and pools since I was a baby. Because everyone would tell me I was very good with kids and so comfortable in the water, I started teaching private swimming classes. I became a Lifeguard in 2015 and a Water Safety Instructor in 2016. I am told I motivate my students to improve their swimming techniques and to work hard to reach their swimming goals. I particularly like to work events as I enjoy meeting new people. I have repeat parents who call me to be a lifeguard at their kids’ parties. A fun fact about me is that I am probably one of the tallest lifeguards you can hire but can relate to your child as if I were as small as them.

Morgan, Event Lifeguard, Award Winning Videographer, Dog lover, and Sushi addict

Boca Raton

Morgan is a small town girl originally from the Berkshires, Massachusetts. She was once a young girl who was terrified of jumping into the water, but took swimming lessons at a young age and fell in love with the water. She went on to join her high school’s swim team and competed for two years. It was from her time on the swim team that she became lifeguard certified and even went on to teach swim lessons. Morgan has been certified through the American Red Cross for Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid over the past 6 years. Along with teaching swim lessons, she has also been a Head Lifeguard for a town beach, and has performed an assist save on a young girl actively drowning in the deep end. Morgan wants those she guards to enjoy their time in the water as much as she does, and wants to do everything she can to prevent anyone from having a scary incident like the young girl at the lake. Aside from lifeguarding, Morgan received her BA in Journalism last year and finds her passion in video editing and photography, having won multiple awards for her videography.

I serve the Miami Metro Area.

Rudyar, Private Swim Instructor & Lifeguard for Hire, lover of the arts

Hallandale Beach

Since I was a child I was always close to the water, in my adolescence I spent three years in the national swimming school in Cuba, as swimming instructor since 1996 I worked several summers in Cuba. In 2007 I went to live in Spain where I also worked as a swimming instructor in 2012 I went to live in Sardinia, Italy where I worked as a private swimming instructor for three years, I like this job because swimming is the most complete sport, it is also very important to learn to swim by your own security, there is a risk of death by drowning very high in the world, I personally think that all people should know how to swim or know how to be safe in an aquatic environment

As a lifeguard I worked two summers in Cuba, before starting in the university, where I studied pedagogy in appreciation of art. In 2007 I went to live in Spain where I also work as a lifeguard in 2012. I like lifeguarding because there is a lot of responsibility in safety of clients at beaches or pools, I like to know that I am able to react in a stressful situation, each situation is different in each place, the work dynamics are fun and also very serious
