Summer is a time when we can relax, enjoy time with friends and organize outdoor pool parties. But a combination of a lot of people with varying degrees of swimming ability can lead to some dangerous situations.

If you are creating an event that has a pool, the most important thing you can do is hire a qualified lifeguard. If an accident happens, you need a professional on site to immediately rectify the situation. If someone stops breathing from nearly drowning you only have 3 minutes to restore circulation before permanent brain damage occurs.

Below is a testimonial from the dad at a Los Angeles child’s beginning of summer pool party using Happy Swimmers:

We had a lifeguard at my son’s 6th birthday party, Matt Verne. He showed up on time, was incredibly friendly and amazing at his job. About 2 hours into the party the pool was packed with kids. I was talking to a friend when suddenly I saw Matt jump up from his chair, run to the far side of the pool and pull my 2 year old daughter from underwater. He saved her life. None of us saw what happened and my daughter got lost in the crowd. I cannot recommend this company enough and will be using them again at every pool party we have.
