Hello! My name is Alexandria Box and I will be your lifeguard for this event! I have experience life guarding for 2 years at the City Of Las Vegas Pools, and have recently joined Happy Swimmers. Aside from Life guarding, I love playing the Bass and have been playing since the 6th grade. I am ready to take on any challenges I may face willingly and I am excited I will be guarding for you.

Debbie is a graduate of CSUN with a background in teaching Physical Education and Special Education for students with Specific Learning Disabilities. She had worked for LAUSD as a teacher for 37.5 years. She has also been a Professional Lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard Training Instructor with the American Red Cross and LAUSD. She has taught First Aid and CPR for over 30 years and feels that it is important to give back to the community. She has a strong background in working with the community in planning and scheduling events for the Civic Center Division for LAUSD.  Debbie is excited to be a part of the Instructor Team for JTA CPR and looks forward to being part of the expanding Management Team of Happy Swimmers. In her free time, Debbie loves to hike, ski where ever there is snow, swim and travel.

Hi, I’m Elana, I’ve been lifeguarding since I was 17. I’ve had years of experience working with kids including teaching private swim lessons. I’m a published author and multi talented human. Sometimes I wish I could have a different job for each day of the week just to include all my skills and interests. Lifeguarding on the side helps keep things fun and interesting!

In the past, I’ve worked as a hotel lifeguard assisting patrons and ensuring their safety. I also occasionally enjoy practicing my old sport, gymnastics, and keeping my skills up.

Hi! My name is June and I love being out in nature. Camping, hiking, kayaking & taking rides through the desert in our Razor are some of my favorite things to do. Since 2010, I have been working with children in various aquatic and academic environments. I enjoy working with children because I am patient and creative. There is nothing more satisfying that seeing a child learn something new and feel good about the process. I have been a private swim instructor, a beach camp assistant instructor, a community swim team coach, a community center camp instructor, as well as a beach and pool lifeguard. I played JV swim team and water polo for four years in high school.

My most influential work experience has been completing two years of Laguna Beach Rookie Lifeguard Academy back in 2013. Since then I attended college while serving in various academic tutoring capacities.
