Las Vegas Lifeguard for Hire

Growing up in the heat, swimming and being in water was my favorite thing to do during the summer. Which led to my very first job ever, lifeguarding, and I immediately loved it. I’ve worked at several resorts, casinos, water parks and have guarded private events throughout Las Vegas. I love what I do for work and being able to let everyone enjoy themselves, fun and safely, makes the job fun 🙂

Hi my names Brooklyn Tanner. I was born and raised in Las Vegas! I have been a lifeguard for over 4 years along with being a certified swim instructor. I love my job as it gives me a chance to meet new people. Fun fact about me- I just got a new puppy he’s a pug named Gucci!

I have lifeguarded at Mandalay Bay, which is one of the largest pool complex’s in Las Vegas. It contains 3 individual pools, a wave pool, and a lazy river, so I have experience keeping an eye on small, large, and moving pools. My intention in guarding is to make sure everybody is having a fun, and safe time. People are meant to have fun in the pool, but there are essential rules that need to be followed. What I love most about lifeguarding is being outside enjoying the weather, ensuring everybody else is having a great and safe time. A fun fact about me is I love jet skiing and hope to have my own one day.

Debbie is a graduate of CSUN with a background in teaching Physical Education and Special Education for students with Specific Learning Disabilities. She had worked for LAUSD as a teacher for 37.5 years. She has also been a Professional Lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard Training Instructor with the American Red Cross and LAUSD. She has taught First Aid and CPR for over 30 years and feels that it is important to give back to the community. She has a strong background in working with the community in planning and scheduling events for the Civic Center Division for LAUSD.  Debbie is excited to be a part of the Instructor Team for JTA CPR and looks forward to being part of the expanding Management Team of Happy Swimmers. In her free time, Debbie loves to hike, ski where ever there is snow, swim and travel.

I’ve been a lifeguard since I was able to get a job (15) and I’ve been a lifeguard ever since and I love the experience I have with everyone.

Hello, my name is Rockland. I was born in Las Vegas but spent a lot of summers swimming in cold, Lake Champlain in New York. I also like to go to Nelson’s Landing and the Colorado River to swim as well as my backyard pool. Following the rules of safety has always been important in each of these situations. When I’m not enjoying the water, I play ice hockey.

Since 2010, I have been working with children in various aquatic and academic environments. I enjoy working with children because I am patient and creative. There is nothing more satisfying that seeing a child learn something new and feel good about the process. I have been a private swim instructor, a beach camp assistant instructor, a community swim team coach, a community center camp instructor, as well as a beach and pool lifeguard. I played JV swim team and water polo for four years in high school.

My most influential work experience has been completing two years of Laguna Beach Rookie Lifeguard Academy back in 2013. Since then I attended college while serving in various academic tutoring capacities. I strive to provide a consistent performance of professionalism and utilize my joy for education to enhance the lives of everyone I come in contact with.
