I have been a lifeguard since I was 12 years old! I took Jr Lifeguard classes as a kid and accumulated summer volunteer hours by shadowing working lifeguards. I got certified when I was 15 in May 2017 and immediately started working in June of 2017. I have years of experience in this field. I am also a Certified Swim Instructor, Certified Lifeguard Instructor, and a Certified Personal Trainer. I love the idea of helping others stay safe and enjoy the water as much as I do! I took on lifeguarding so I could feel safe and help people around me feel safe. But the most important reason I took on this responsibility of being a lifeguard is to make sure everyone can have fun but still know I’m there watching so everyone can have safe fun.

I have 5 years of lifeguarding experience and over 10 years of swimming experience and a medal from the Junior Olympics! The best part about lifeguarding events is getting to have fun and meet great people, while keeping everyone safe.

Hello my name is Jada, heres a couple things to get to know me better I got into swimming in 5th grade and stuck with it for four years, turned out I was pretty good. Started lifeguarding when I was 15, back in 2020, and have pulled off over five rescues. I’ve been lifeguarding for swim teams and parties over several occasions, which has been an awesome experience. I’ve always loved making kids laugh and ensuring they have a blast. Just wrapped up high school and finished at Tulsa Welding School in March 2023.

My background is in the legal profession working as a legal secretary for many years. I stopped working to raise two children who are now young adults. My daughter is a teacher in the Portland school district, and my son is an artist who lives on the East coast. For the last twenty-four years, I worked as a Special Education Assistant in the Los Angeles Unified School District. For twenty of those years, I worked with at-risk students and students with special needs at the secondary level. These students resided in a residential facility, and I worked closely not only with the entire school staff but with the social workers and staff at the residential placement. I am excited to be part of the Management Team of Happy Swimmers and look forward to working with you.

I have worked as a swim instructor for 3 years and it is one of the most fun jobs that I have had. I love helping children gain confidence in the pool. It is one of the most rewarding feeling in the world to watch a child progress in their swimming ability. I love working with older children between ages 5-12. I have experience working with young children and have been told that I have a talent working with scared children in this age group. I also have experience working with adults of all swimming ability. I am currently a master instructor for Lifetime Fitness.

I have been a Lifeguard for 6 years, three of those years I worked as a waterfront lifeguard at a camp in Austin, Tx. The last 3 years I have worked for Lifetime Fitness in San Antonio as an Aquatics Supervisor in this role I help run swim programming and lifeguard management. As a lifeguard my number one priority is keeping everyone safe and stopping disasters before they happen. I am a fitness enthusiast and I am currently in the hiring process for the San Antonio Fire Department.

Hi! I’ve been a lifeguard for three years now and I love listening to music and going on hikes! I love trying out new food and am a huge fan of the Houston Astros! I am in nursing school and do lifeguarding on the side for fun!

My swim instructing background is being an assistant coach for my neighborhood swim team where I ran practices and meets working on kids technique. More recently I’ve taught lessons at an indoor pool, and worked with a wider range of ages. My specialties include teaching flutter kicks and breast stroke arms. What I like most about teaching lessons is seeing retained development in the kids swimming, a fun fact is I’ve been swimming since i was 4.

My lifeguarding background is mostly at neighborhood pools on a 2 guard system. More recently I’ve worked a 3 guard system at an indoor pool. My intention while guarding is to ensure all patron safety. What I like most about lifeguarding events is the people you meet, and a fun fact about me is I have two other triplet siblings.
