Philadelphia Lifeguard for Hire

Hi, my name is Charlie Palmer. I’ve been a volunteer lifeguard at Pine Bush Bible Camp for the past 4 summers and lifeguard supervisor this year and last year. My intention when lifeguarding is to make sure everyone is safe while still having fun. I can’t wait to help at your event!

I taught swim lessons at camp and privately for the last 5 years working with children of all ages. I love helping children learn how to swim and their “aha!” moment when they finally get a stroke and become comfortable with it. I actually learned how to swim pretty early on. At the tender young age of just 4 years old I would swim on my own!

I’ve been lifeguarding for the last 8 years and teaching swim lessons for the last 5. I always keep a fun and safe environment for my patrons and love to see a smile on their faces after a job well done. Event lifeguarding is so much fun and you meet so many new and interesting people.

I serve the NYC Tri-State Areas of Paramus, Philadelphia, New York, Manalapan, among others. 

I’ve been swimming competitively for since the age of 5 and currently swim at the collegiate level. I have lifeguarded at my local swim club for the past 4 summers along with lifeguarding private events. I love lifeguarding private events because you get to make sure that patrons have fun and stay safe.

I am a high school student with a passion for healthcare in all departments. My first intro to this was a life guarding career. Which I have been doing for about so far 10 months. I have learned so much about life guarding throughout the months and I am extremely skilled in problem solving. I am soon hoping to be a CNA or a certified nurse assistant in a hospital near me to learn more about general healthcare. Some facts about me is that I love cardio, swimming and weightlifting. I love photography, engineering, and leather working. I profound at algebra and biology. I am also naloxone certified and have been for a few months now. Both in administering naloxone and maintaing BLS (Basic Life Support). I am interested in becoming a pharmacist or a anesthesiologist later in life.

I’ve been a lifeguard since I was 15! I started out as a YMCA lifeguard, and also guarded multiple local summer swim clubs. As a swimmer, lifeguarding has always been my favorite job to do while in school. I’m a social person and love meeting the families that host events! I also have a background in swim instructing and swim team coaching!

I’ve only just become a lifeguard this year, although it’s been something I’ve wanted to do ever since I was little. My intentions for lifeguarding are to provide a safe environment that protects everyone whilst also making sure everyone has a good time! I love the ability to move around freely and to meet so many new people that comes with the job!

I have been a lifeguard since I was able to gain the certification and have lifeguarded nonstop since then. I enjoy water and helping keeping people safe all while having fun. I enjoy learning about people and making sure they do not have to worry about safety while I am there. Outside of lifeguarding I am a full time teacher, masters student, and Shakespearean actress, so I always have a story to tell. I look forward to working with you and can’t wait to make the summer fun.

My background is in the legal profession working as a legal secretary for many years. I stopped working to raise two children who are now young adults. My daughter is a teacher in the Portland school district, and my son is an artist who lives on the East coast. For the last twenty-four years, I worked as a Special Education Assistant in the Los Angeles Unified School District. For twenty of those years, I worked with at-risk students and students with special needs at the secondary level. These students resided in a residential facility, and I worked closely not only with the entire school staff but with the social workers and staff at the residential placement. I am excited to be part of the Management Team of Happy Swimmers and look forward to working with you.

Born and raised in NYC I have been swimming since I was 2 years old. I swam competitively all through grade school and high school and loved it! I have been lifeguarding year round (not only summers) for 11 years. When lifeguarding my main priority is swimmer safety while having fun!
