Sacramento Lifeguard for Hire Service

Lifeguard Service USA

Happy Swimmers USA provides Sacramento lifeguard for hire service for a variety of functions. From children’s pool parties (our specialty, seen on NBC4 News), to entertainment industry shoots, and corporate events, Happy Swimmers provides an incredible staff for all of these needs.

Staff

All staff are Red Cross certified Lifeguards with an average experience of 7 years, many at high volume locations. These are pros, not charming but inexperienced high schoolers. Wherever there is a pool involved in Sacramento. (and many other areas), we have staff ready to serve you professionally to maintain a safe and fun environment.

We are the largest private lifeguard service in the country,

Why hire us over another lifeguard company or even the kid down the street in Sacramento?

We do a thorough evaluation and interview for all of our Sacramento Lifeguard for hire staff. We also are one of the only Sacramento Lifeguard for Hire companies that protects you with our insurance for PROFESSIONAL as well as general liability insurance and workers comp insurance.  Most lifeguard companies carry the minimum general liability (slips and falls) but they don’t carry the more specific professional liability coverage nor workers comp.

Most importantly, if an accident happens no matter who’s at fault, you want your guard(s) properly insured for your protection.  Similarly, would you drive a car without car insurance or go to a doctor who you found didn’t carry malpractice insurance?  Above all, we cover you and your event, so you can enjoy the party.

Additionally, almost all freelancers are completely uninsured. Who checks their criminal backgrounds and lifeguard certification status? Our staff is professionally checked for this. We hire the cream of the crop with the best experience, and again, with us, you have a team of managers and a company to back you up if someone flakes.

Welcome to Happy Swimmers’ Sacramento Lifeguard for Hire,  32 years of keeping a guardian angel’s eye on our client’s guests.

Claudia, Lifeguard & Jackie of all trades: music teacher/musician, babysitter, origami folder, ballroom dancer/instructor, actress, and painter.

I have been a life guard for 7 years, I started off with the City of Sacramento and became a pool manager. Once I became really serious on my teaching career i took summer classes and started working for happy swimmers (as it fit my hectic schedule better). It is my job as a lifeguard to provide a safe and fun environment for swimming and lounging around the pool. My favorite part of lifeguarding is seeing people compete for the biggest splash! Fun fact about me: I’m also a music teacher and musician!

Hannah Naten, Swim Instructor, Lifeguard, Adventure Seeker and Coffee Addict

Sacramento, CA

Hello, my name is Hannah and I have been a lifeguard for six years as well as a pool manager for two years! I started swimming competitively when I was five years old (hard to believe that that was 16 years ago!) and I am passionate about sharing my love of the water by ensuring that it is safe and fun for all those who want to enjoy it! I am also a nursing student at the moment (one more year and I will have my BSN and RN degrees) and love using my knowledge to make extra-sure that everyone is safe and having a blast at whatever event is occurring. I love lifeguarding events: I am a big people-person, I love the outdoors, and I love the water! I want to make sure whichever event I am invited to I can help the event run smoothly as well as make it enjoyable for all parties present. A fun fact about me: I just got back from 3 months in South Africa working in clinics and going on adventures, so if you want to see cool photos and videos of shark cage diving, bungee jumping and safaris, I would love to share!

I love teaching people how to swim! I have taught swim lessons for six years excluding my own personal experience with swim. I have taught between the age ranges of 6 months to 84 years old, so I am comfortable with teaching just about everything! I can teach the basics of strokes, refinement of stroke technique, as well as simply getting comfortable in the water and learning how to swim and be safe in water for the first time! Swim lessons hold a special place in my heart because I would never be who I am today if I did not having amazing instructors help me not only gain skills swimming but also making me feel comfortable with my abilities as well as gain confidence. Fun fact about me: my favorite stroke is backstroke, and my favorite race was the 200 meter back– not a popular favorite but loads of fun to me!

I have had 2 jobs lifeguarding in Sacramento and in Los Angeles. I am currently an assistant pool manager! I am very social and active. A fun fact about me is that I just graduated!

Hi I’m Macie and I’ve been a lifeguard for a little over 5 years. My first lifeguarding job was at as a lake lifeguard at a local Girl Scout summer camp. I currently also work as a lifeguard at the UC Davis Recreation Pool. I am a first aid, wilderness first aid, and lifeguard instructor as well. I love being a lifeguard because knowing how to save lives makes me feel empowered!

Serving: Sacramento, Davis, Roseville, Folsom

Hey, I’m Macie and I’m a CPR/First Aid instructor. I really enjoy teaching CPR classes because I know that the more people who have these basic first aid skills, the more lives can be saved. Over the last year, I have been working with UC Davis Campus Recreation to teach CPR classes for all student employees that work in-person, to make the campus a safer place for all. I also work with the local Girl Scout council to train camp counselors in wilderness first aid.

Miriam Silliman, Lifeguard, Traveler and Vegan Food Enthusiast

Carmichael

Hi! My name is Miriam and I’ve been a lifeguard for 6 years now. Ever since I was little I have loved the water and swimming. I did USA competitive swimming for 10 years and then joined my college club swim team for 3 years at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I recently graduated from Cal Poly with a B.S. in public health and will be attending UCLA to obtain my Master’s in Public Health Epidemiology in the fall. I have always loved helping others and enjoyed the health aspect of lifeguarding. Lifeguard events are my favorite places to lifeguard at because I love meeting new people and being able to save lives at the same time. A fun fact about me is that I recently started mountain biking and although its probably the scariest thing I’ve ever done, I enjoy it greatly!
