I have been a life guard for 7 years, I started off with the City of Sacramento and became a pool manager. Once I became really serious on my teaching career i took summer classes and started working for happy swimmers (as it fit my hectic schedule better). It is my job as a lifeguard to provide a safe and fun environment for swimming and lounging around the pool. My favorite part of lifeguarding is seeing people compete for the biggest splash! Fun fact about me: I’m also a music teacher and musician!

Hello my name is Dano (Day-Noh),
I have been Lifeguarding for close to 5 years and have always loved the water ever since I took swim lessons as a kid. My intention is to prevent any life threatening injuries while on duty and educate pool patrons about safety in or out of the water. It is a commitment of mine to engage w/ the event staff and proactively develop an appropriate EAP (emergency action plan) incase we need to activate a rescue. In addition, to keeping a safe environment it’s always fun to play some pool games and share some swimming techniques with the pool guest. Feel free to ask for an early arrival time as it’s fine if you need some help setting a few things up prior to event.

In addition to lifeguarding, I spend most of my extra time pursuing my dream as an Actor, Model and Voiceover artist. This is one of my biggest passions in life.

I have been lifeguarding for three summers and lifeguarding for Happyswimmers for two summers. I aim to keep people safe in the water, putting people’s mind at ease so they can enjoy themselves.

I’ve been a lifeguard for for over 3 years now but swimming has always been a big part of my life. I swam competitively in high school and have always loved the water. Growing up going to pools I always felt safe knowing there was a lifeguard watching. In my guarding I aim to help others enjoy the water, while making them feel safe. I feel lucky to be able to guard events where I get to meet and interact with new people while maintaining a fun and safe environment for kids and adults.

Hi, I’m Isabella, I have been guarding for 7 years, and have spent most of my life in the water! I was a lifeguard for my summer camp starting as a junior guard and worked up to being the head of aquatics. I have taught countless on water sports from S.U.P. to wakeboarding and everything in between! I also got to play for the UVM men’s water polo team while I was in college. I love lifeguarding and look forward to providing safe and comfortable experiences for everyone I get to work with this season!

I have been lifeguarding for 4 years now and have always worked year-round. I have worked at multiple public recreation departments and swim clubs. My style of lifeguarding is preventative, stopping accidents and injuries before they occur. Safety for everyone is always my top priority and is why I love to lifeguard events (besides playing with kids from time to time!). A neat fact about me is I play multiple instruments and am part of USC’s drumline.

Hi! My name is Miriam and I’ve been a lifeguard for 6 years now. Ever since I was little I have loved the water and swimming. I did USA competitive swimming for 10 years and then joined my college club swim team for 3 years at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I recently graduated from Cal Poly with a B.S. in public health and will be attending UCLA to obtain my Master’s in Public Health Epidemiology in the fall. I have always loved helping others and enjoyed the health aspect of lifeguarding. Lifeguard events are my favorite places to lifeguard at because I love meeting new people and being able to save lives at the same time. A fun fact about me is that I recently started mountain biking and although its probably the scariest thing I’ve ever done, I enjoy it greatly!
