Mobile Lifeguard Training Florida: Our Complete Course Offerings:

Red Cross Lifeguard Training (LGT) Blended Learning Course

Designed for first-timers, and lifeguards whose certs have expired. We offer this course as a full 2-day program. Same content as 4-day Park and Rec city program classes, but we condense it with longer days and more focused time, cost $244 generally, depending on location.

Red Cross LGT Review course,

For those whose certs are soon to expire but still certified (30 day grace period allowed). If your cert is expired, take our standard course (still quicker than typical Park and Rec 4 day LGT courses). The review course is typically given as a one 12 hour day, or sometimes two 6-hour days–cost $164 ($174 some pool sites). Note: bring your CPR pocket mask from your previous class to use in CPR practice, or purchase a new mask for $10 at class.  For the stand-alone review course rate, the whole class must be set up to be a review course, not mixed with standard 2-day first-timer course participants unless otherwise stated. If you intend to have both types of class on the same weekend, that is ok, but please contact our office to set up the training this special way.

Red Cross Shallow Water Lifeguard Course and One-Day Review Course,

Designed for people who guard at pools up to 5 feet deep. The same pricing as the standard courses above, however, certification is only for shallow water pools, and easier pre-tests, including a 100 yard swim instead of a 300-yard swim.

Waterfront Lifeguard Training

Designed for those needing certification for guarding at lakes or calm bays. It’s the standard two-day pool lifeguard program plus a 6-hour third day of waterfront skills at your chosen waterfront. Cost is $315 per student all-inclusive.

Melinda, Lifeguard Instructor, Lifeguard for Hire and outdoors enthusiast

Paradise Heights

I have been a lifeguard for 7 years, working for orange county parks and recreation at kelly park (rock springs), Discovery Cove Orlando, and now currently working for RDV sportsplex in Maitland. I have always had a strong passion for lifeguarding and helping and serving others. I am very excited for this adventure with happy swimmers and can’t wait to experience the different events. A little fun fact about myself is that I absolutely love the outdoors. Most days you can find me either hunting, fishing, or on any body of water possible!

I serve the Orlando/Tampa communities of Apopka, Altamonte, Orlando & Tampa proper, among others.

Nick Brown – LG & LGI – Avid Universal Goer

Orlando, FL

Hi my name is Nick and I am a Florida native with a great Jamaican heritage. The reason that I first got into lifeguarding was because I got a summer job at a sleep away summer camp. I remember being pretty nervous my first couple times guarding. However, from that experience my confidence grew and after 4 years of that, I have learned so much about myself and my leadership ability. I acquired my lifeguard trainer certification and have put it to good use since.

The reason I love event lifeguarding is because on top of keeping everyone safe, I love being a part of the excitement going on around me.

Rad Rakeisha

Rad Rakeisha, Lifeguard Instructor (LGI)

Tampa Bay, 7 years experience!

7 years experience lifeguarding.  Serving areas in the Land o Lakes, Wesley Chapel, and the Tampa Bay Area

HI!!!! My name in Rakeisha. I am a Canadian student-athlete currently finishing my degree in Biology on the medical track and playing soccer at Saint Leo University. I have been swimming since I was eight and have loved the water ever since. I have been a certified lifeguard for seven years now and have done so for camp, family outings, Saint Leo University’s pool, and at my own house. Though I am not a certified swim instructor I have taught a few kids in my community, so proper certification is something I will pursue. I understand how fun swimming can be but I also understand its dangers so I make it my business to ensure a safe environment for those who want to enjoy the water!
