I started lifeguarding when I was 15 years old, became a Swim Instructor/ lifeguard at 16 and I’ve been working at the YMCA for 3 years

As a young kid, I always enjoyed myself being in the pool on hot summer days. I felt like this was a great way to relax.

My name is Alexandra Gerasimovich. I’m going to be a senior in high school in September. I’m in various school clubs such as National Honor Society, Ambassadors, Fishing, Campus Ministry, Film Club and Stage & Sound crew. I’ve been on my high school swim team since freshman year and have been swimming since. I began swimming when I was around 5 and have always loved the sport. Although I had only recently got my license, I am ready to work and share this wonderful experience with everyone and especially because I love working with kids whether it’s in the aquatics world or just babysitting them.

Hello, my name is Imani Seales I am a current junior and I live in New York City. I love to swim and walk.

I am an experienced swimmer and lifeguard which are both things I enjoy. I’ve lifeguarded at indoor and outdoor pools in public facilities and continuing that with lifeguarding at private pools. I prioritize the safety of my patrons while also having a fun and friendly environment. I also have been on the swim team for a couple years and have competed in county competitions. Some of my other hobbies include tutoring, playing the piano, and playing volleyball.

Larissa is a Water Safety Instructor, Advanced Swimming Technique
Instructor, and Lifeguard certified by the American Red Cross. Larissa has been teaching students of all ages how to swim. She also has experience coaching advanced students on stroke mechanics and good techniques for better performance in the water.

Hey! I’m Liana. I’ve been a lifeguard for the past four summers at outdoor pools. For the past two years I worked at Sprain Ridge Park. I’ve also been a teacher at the Learn to Swim program at Sprain Ridge Pool — teaching kids and adults. I love soccer and playing piano.
