Melbourne and Suburbs Lifeguard Hire Service

Australia Lifeguard Service

Hire a lifeguard from Happy Swimmers for the safety of your children’s pool party or to professionally serve your corporate event.

We serve the greater Melbourne area with our professional lifeguard staff.  Our guards are covered by general liability insurance to keep our clients’ exposure down.  This is a prime reason to hire us over an uninsured “friend of a friend” and what happens if they don’t show? We have a school of staff that are instantly notified of your need, by a dedicated manager and owner.

Special Grand Opening Price for up to 3 hours is $224! Over 3 hours: add $40/half hour per lifeguard.  Feel free to keep the guards over your original booking pending their schedule. Our office would then send you a balance due notice which can be paid by credit card on our website.  The booking form on the next page will easily calculate your cost based on your party length and amount of lifeguards.  We’re a cheap alternative to an accident.

Here are some of the common communities we serve in Melbourne: Toorak, Deepdene, Canterbury, Middlepark, Balwyn, St. Kilda West, Brighton, Armadale, Malvern, and Kew.  We probably serve your community too if you’re within 50 k of the CBD that’s normal range for us.

Just recently, one guard made 4 rescues of children at a busy pool party.  Their parents definitely thanked us for being there. We love keeping the kids (and adults) safe so you can enjoy your party. Come be a Happy Swimmer!

Lifeguard Tip:

One set of dedicated eyes, watching a pool is more important than half a dozen people half-watching while half-socializing.  Toddlers bloop down the steps faster than parents think, and the toddler can’t call for help once under water.  Our guards see this, and prevent it often before anyone notices.  It’s smart to hire that lifeguard.

Hi! my name is Danny. I’m 21 and currently reside in Melbourne, Australia. What I have always liked most about lifeguarding, is that you help provide a fun yet safe environment for people of various ages & ethnicity’s to enjoy. I have helped accomplish this at a number of pools and in open water settings within Australia, and I’ve also got experience pool lifeguarding in the United States.

Jenn Tyler, President of the Company, LGI, Lifeguard, Swim Instructor

Company owner with 27 years lifeguard, lifeguard instructor, and swim teaching experience

Living on Kaua’i island, Hawai’i most of the year, and traveling to Australia, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay, and Houston regularly to lead Lifeguard Courses and CPR training, Jenn has been the director of Happy Swimmers for over 25 years. It is a passion to assist in the empowerment of children learning how to swim in a medium once considered a fearful, uncertain place, magically turned into a supportive, fun environment to be explored with friends. The same goes for lifeguarding and training new lifeguards–there is no greater inner joy either in saving someone’s life as a lifeguard, or teaching others how to perform lifesaving skills. It is an honor for me to watch my students grow–where once there was doubt or panic, now there is strength and confidence.

Thank you for looking to become a Happy Swimmer!
