I am a new and excited lifeguard, I just received my certification on 5/27/2018. My intention in becoming a lifeguard is to provide a safe environment where all different kinds of swimmers feel welcome and safe. Also, I look forward to lifeguarding at various events because I love to watch swimmers have fun and enjoy themselves. I am also an passionate athlete, as I love to play many sports including football and basketball.

Hi! My name is Calder. I have always loved being in the water and as soon as I got presented with the opportunity to work as a lifeguard, I was very excited to take it. I work at a sleep-away summer camp in Washington State where I lifeguard campers on the dock while they swim, paddle board, and sail. I became a lifeguard because ensuring people’s safety while having a good time is always my top priority. It is so much fun watching the joy kids feel in the water, and I remember that same feeling when I was younger and still have it today.

I have been a life guard for 7 years, I started off with the City of Sacramento and became a pool manager. Once I became really serious on my teaching career i took summer classes and started working for happy swimmers (as it fit my hectic schedule better). Hello my name is Dano (Day-Noh),
I have been Lifeguarding for close to 5 years and have always loved the water ever since I took swim lessons as a kid. My intention is to prevent any life threatening injuries while on duty and educate pool patrons about safety in or out of the water. It is a commitment of mine to engage w/ the event staff and proactively develop an appropriate EAP (emergency action plan) incase we need to activate a rescue. In addition, to keeping a safe environment it’s always fun to play some pool games and share some swimming techniques with the pool guest. Feel free to ask for an early arrival time as it’s fine if you need some help setting a few things up prior to event.

In addition to lifeguarding, I spend most of my extra time pursuing my dream as an Actor, Model and Voiceover artist. This is one of my biggest passions in life.

I’ve been a lifeguard for for over 3 years now but swimming has always been a big part of my life. I swam competitively in high school and have always loved the water. Hi! My name is Miriam and I’ve been a lifeguard for 6 years now. Ever since I was little I have loved the water and swimming. I did USA competitive swimming for 10 years and then joined my college club swim team for 3 years at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I recently graduated from Cal Poly with a B.S. in public health and will be attending UCLA to obtain my Master’s in Public Health Epidemiology in the fall. I have always loved helping others and enjoyed the health aspect of lifeguarding. Lifeguard events are my favorite places to lifeguard at because I love meeting new people and being able to save lives at the same time. A fun fact about me is that I recently started mountain biking and although its probably the scariest thing I’ve ever done, I enjoy it greatly!
