Do you want to hire a lifeguard but want to make sure you get one of the best? When you hire an Ultimate Lifeguard you are getting the best of the best. These lifeguards all have over 5 years of experience, have shown dependability, responsiveness, and responsibility over the years. By hiring an Ultimate Lifeguard you are taking your party to the next level to not only ensure safety but to make sure that your guests have a great time, too!

You can set up date and time for your Ultimate Lifeguard right here in the store! Please make sure to include all information for event, including date, time, address, and any special notes you would like your lifeguard to know.

Once we receive your booking, our Ultimate Lifeguards in your area will be notified, and then they will be able to pick up the event. Once confirmed with a staff, they will reach out to you to confirm and get any information needed to make sure your event goes smoothly.

Safety at Your Event With Ultimate Lifeguards

Please note that all of Happy Swimmers policies and procedures are the same throughout all lifeguard services. Depending on the age group of the swimmers at the party, and the expected headcount, our client care team with lifeguards in our office can guide you on this. One lifeguard is usually sufficient for up to 20 swimmers of varying abilities.  If there are a lot of younger swimmers under age 10, we suggest the ratio be 1 lifeguard per 15.  Safety of the little ones is our key priority.

RUSH SERVICE OPTIONS
If booking within 72 hours of your event, a rush fee of $50 per lifeguard will automatically be added to your total. If booking within 24 hours or less of the event start time, a $100 per lifeguard urgent rush fee will automatically be added to your total. If we cannot find a lifeguard for you, you will get a full refund the next business day. If you cancel your event after payment, the rush fees are non-refundable and our cancellation policy (in our terms) is in effect.

Before confirming your lifeguard:

  • We cannot staff anything other than swimming pools (no ocean, lakes, etc.);
  • We cannot staff pools open to public, entire pool area must be rented out for your event;
  • Lifeguard to swim guest ratio. Our general rule of thumb is 1 lifeguard to 15 swim guests.
  • All children under 5 must ALWAYS be within arm’s length of their guardian while in the water. Lifeguards will enforce this so please let attendees know beforehand and plan ahead to get in the water.
  • If you do have a slide, you must request a second lifeguard for event OR close slide off;
  • Diving boards cannot be used while Happy Swimmer lifeguard is on duty; if you have a diving board it must be blocked off during event.

A 50% deposit plus any rush fee or auto-tip, if applicable, will reserve your date, which is our company minimum for 1 lifeguard up to 3 hours. If you have more than one lifeguard, the deposit is still 50% or auto-tip. If you go over the deposit you paid, please pay by credit card.

Everything about my experience with Happy Swimmers has been amazing! From the scheduling to the fantastic teacher they sent for my 5 and 6 year old. The instructor, Emma, had to contend with 2 very different personalities along with 2 different levels of swimming experience. We have three kids ages 7, 4, and 2 & 1/2. This was our second year having Happy Swimmers, with instructor Trisha Commons, come teach our kids (the two oldest) to swim. I tried another company the year before I tried Happy Swimmers and although the kids learned swim safety, they were bored and did not learn how to enjoy the pool. Trisha got our son, who did not really like swimming, having fun and by the end of last year could swim the entire length of the pool on his own.

Trisha is great with the kids and is flexible in her teaching style to work with different personalities. She is able to get the kids confident in their abilities and teaches them how to swim, but also teaches them how to have fun! I will definitely be asking Happy Swimmers and Trisha to teach the kids again next year.

I have a toddler and a pool and wanted to make sure my son learned water safety. After taking some group classes last summer, I knew I wanted more one-on-one attention at our home. This summer I reviewed several in-home companies and was impressed with Happy Swimmers approach of water safety.

Trish worked with my stubborn 2-yr old 2-3 times a week. Within the first lesson he knew how to climb out of the pool and to ask permission before getting in. Although our goal was to get him water comfortable more than “swimming”, he indeed learned to swim within a few weeks. We extended our lessons and really appreciated Trish’s approach. We will sign up again next summer. Many of our friends with children happened to be present on several lessons and I expect they will also sign up next summer as well.
