Mobile to Deleware Valley for the Greater Philadelphia Lifeguard for Hire Service You Need!

We pull over 30 children out of perilous situations in backyard kids pool parties and barbecues each Summer, all while the parents often had no suspicion the little ones were in trouble.  We take our job seriously so you can enjoy the party.  Often guests comment to the host how incredible and secure they felt knowing a lifeguard was hired for their friend’s party.  Here’s a little about us:

Let us serve you!  Here’s a little about us:

Happy Swimmers private lifeguard service began in 1991 in Los Angeles, and over the years, we’ve expanded to many metro areas nationwide, in the aim of truly preventing many of the drownings and near-drowning accidents we’ve read about in the news. This is our inaugural year in greater Philly, and we hope to do you proud. After 25 years and countless lives saved we believe we’re a smart choice to keep your party safe and fun at the same time.

Common Philly areas we also serve: Camden, Wilmington, Reading, Trenton, Vineland and Atlantic City.

Price for up to 3 hours is $219 for the first lifeguard.  Need additional lifeguards? They are at a $15 discount each for $204. Over 3 hours add $28.50/half hour per lifeguard.  If you know you’re 45 minutes to an hour outside Philly, we can still serve you but may ask for a $25 travel stipend added based on where the nearest lifeguard who can serve you lives.

Feel free to keep the guards over your original booking time, pending their schedule is free.  It’s best to pre-book the total hours needed, just to make sure your guard is open.  Our office will bill you if you need extra time on-scene.  The booking form on the next page will easily calculate your cost based on your party length and amount of lifeguards.  We’re a cheap alternative to an accident.  Just recently, one guard made 4 rescues to children at a busy party.  Think their parents thought he was worth it?

We look forward to working your pool party or event!

Daniel Kourehjan, Swim Instructor and Lifeguard, The guard tube gladiator

I taught swim lessons at camp and privately for the last 5 years working with children of all ages. I love helping children learn how to swim and their “aha!” moment when they finally get a stroke and become comfortable with it. I actually learned how to swim pretty early on. At the tender young age of just 4 years old I would swim on my own!

I’ve been lifeguarding for the last 8 years and teaching swim lessons for the last 5. I always keep a fun and safe environment for my patrons and love to see a smile on their faces after a job well done. Event lifeguarding is so much fun and you meet so many new and interesting people.

I serve the NYC Tri-State Areas of Paramus, Philadelphia, New York, Manalapan, among others.

My background is in the legal profession working as a legal secretary for many years. I stopped working to raise two children who are now young adults. My daughter is a teacher in the Portland school district, and my son is an artist who lives on the East coast. For the last twenty-four years, I worked as a Special Education Assistant in the Los Angeles Unified School District. For twenty of those years, I worked with at-risk students and students with special needs at the secondary level. These students resided in a residential facility, and I worked closely not only with the entire school staff but with the social workers and staff at the residential placement.
