Dallas (DFW) Lifeguard for Hire Service

Lifeguard Service USA

Serving the whole Metroplex

Happy Swimmers USA provides Dallas-Fort Worth lifeguard for hire service for a variety of functions. From children’s pool parties (our specialty, seen on NBC4 News), to entertainment industry shoots, and corporate events, Happy Swimmers provides an incredible staff for all of these needs.

All staff are Red Cross certified Lifeguards with an average experience of 7 years, many at high volume locations. These are pros, not charming but inexperienced high schoolers. Wherever there is a pool involved in Dallas-Fort Worth, FL. (and many other areas), we have staff ready to serve you professionally to maintain a safe and fun environment.

We are the largest private lifeguard service in the country,

Why hire us over another lifeguard company or even the kid down the street in Dallas-Fort Worth?

We do a thorough evaluation and interview for all of our Dallas-Fort Worth Lifeguard for hire staff. We also are one of the only Dallas-Fort Worth Lifeguard for Hire companies that protects you with our insurance for PROFESSIONAL as well as general liability insurance and workers comp insurance.  Most lifeguard companies carry the minimum general liability (slips and falls) but they don’t carry the more specific professional liability coverage nor workers comp.

Most importantly, if an accident happens no matter who’s at fault, you want your guard(s) properly insured for your protection.  Similarly, would you drive a car without car insurance or go to a doctor who you found didn’t carry malpractice insurance?  Above all, we cover you and your event, so you can enjoy the party.

Additionally, almost all freelancers are completely uninsured. Who checks their criminal backgrounds and lifeguard certification status? Our staff is professionally checked for this. We hire the cream of the crop with the best experience, and again, with us, you have a team of managers and a company to back you up if someone flakes.

Welcome to Happy Swimmers’ Dallas-Fort Worth Lifeguard for Hire,  32 years of keeping a guardian angel’s eye on our client’s guests.

Pricing for your Dallas-Fort Worth Lifeguard for Hire

Price for up to 3 hours is calculated at check out based on location lifeguard for Dallas-Fort Worth. Need additional lifeguards?  Going over 3 hours for your party? Add $28.50/half hour per lifeguard. Also, feel free to keep the guards over your original booking time pending their schedule.  Our office will bill you.

The booking form on the next page will easily calculate your cost based on your party length and amount of lifeguards.  Above all, we’re a cheap alternative to an accident.  Just recently, one guard made 4 rescues to children at a busy party.  Think their parents thought he was worth it?

In conclusion, we’ve got your back, so you can enjoy your party!

I have been a lifeguard since I was 12 years old! I took Jr Lifeguard classes as a kid and accumulated summer volunteer hours by shadowing working lifeguards. I am also a Certified Swim Instructor, Certified Lifeguard Instructor, and a Certified Personal Trainer. I love the idea of helping others stay safe and enjoy the water as much as I do! Grady Moyer, Event Lifeguard and Nationally Competitive Board-Gamer

Dallas Fort Worth

I always loved the water; I used to be a “pool rat,” then joining the Swim Team and then Water Polo team in high school. I began lifeguarding at the age of 15, working indoors for 3 years getting guard of the month twice during that time, and guard of the year for the one year it was tried. Then, I moved outdoors where I got the similar guard of the week and with my team defeated 20+ teams to win the North Texas Guard Games.
Knowing me personally: I thrive in high stress situations and de-escalation. I used to try to guard perfectly of out fear of failure, but now I guard just as well without it.

Serving: Southlake, Bedford-Euless, Colleyville, Grapevine (Hurst, Keller, Fort Worth)

Jayro Mejia, Event Lifeguard, Waterpolo goalie and Wingstop lover

Kendrick Perry, Lifeguard for Hire

Hello, my name is Kendrick. I’m a recently Certified American Red Cross Lifeguard. In addition to my day job, as a Fixed Income Specialist, I am an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 773 in Irving, TX. I made the decision to become a Lifeguard after completing BSA Aquatic Supervision & Water Rescue Training. I developed a love for swimming as a form of exercise following 20+ years as an amateur cyclist, and the addition of a few extra pounds. An important component of safety comes from “Being Prepared” (Scout’s Motto) for emergencies should they occur, but perhaps more practically, Prevention. I have over 6 years experience working with kids through scouting, and believe in living the 12 points of the Scout Law (ask me to recite them sometime ;). As a business professional, I strongly believe in providing excellent client service, and developing lasting relationships by treating individuals the way I expect to be treated.

In addition to the above certifications, I am Red Cross Certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED. I’m Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana and have been living in the DFW area since 1995. I completed my Bachelor’s in 1991 at University of Southwestern LA. I Eventually earned my MBA at University of Dallas in 2002. When not involved with work or scouting, you’ll likely find me either in the pool, on the bike, or thinking about one of the above. Other interest include cooking (indoors & out), geocaching, and in general pushing myself to learn and do new things; rest is good too 🙂

Having a qualified and responsible Lifeguard is very important in keeping kids and adults safe at your events. I’m very honored to be part of the Happy Swimmers Guard Staff!

I look forward to working with you!!!

I serve the DFW communities of Irving, Dallas, Arlington, Southlake, among others

Micah Bruce, Event Lifeguard, Sun soaker by day stargazer by night

Some of the regions I cover: Dallas, Fort Worth, Cedar Hill, Duncanville, Arlington

I’ve been lifeguarding on and off for multiple years, from indoor water parks to Olympic-sized lap pools to large summer camps. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it and love being able to make an enjoyable sport safer for everyone. I was born in Indonesia, raised both here in Dallas and up in Utah, and have made countless memories in both places, and can’t wait to make many more while lifeguarding here.

Nathan Wilson, Event Lifeguard and Professional Watermelon Speed-Eater

Dallas (DFW)

Hey there! My name’s Nathan Wilson, and I’m an indoor lifeguard with just over 1 year of experience. Since I work year round, I’ve had over 60 hours of inservice training and 1000+ hours on duty. I’ve always viewed lifeguarding as a way of giving back to my community, especially after almost becoming a drowning victim myself. When I was 5 years old I jumped into the deep end of a friend’s pool at a party. In a backyard of 20+ people the person that recognized what was happening was my father, who quickly jumped into action to drag me up from the bottom of the pool. An accident can occur in the blink of an eye, and as a lifeguard my duty is to prevent those accidents from becoming fatal.

My background is in the legal profession working as a legal secretary for many years. I stopped working to raise two children who are now young adults. My daughter is a teacher in the Portland school district, and my son is an artist who lives on the East coast. For the last twenty-four years, I worked as a Special Education Assistant in the Los Angeles Unified School District. For twenty of those years, I worked with at-risk students and students with special needs at the secondary level. These students resided in a residential facility, and I worked closely not only with the entire school staff but with the social workers and staff at the residential placement. I also have experience working with adults of all swimming ability. I am currently a master instructor for Lifetime Fitness.

I have been a Lifeguard for 6 years, three of those years I worked as a waterfront lifeguard at a camp in Austin, Tx. The last 3 years I have worked for Lifetime Fitness in San Antonio as an Aquatics Supervisor in this role I help run swim programming and lifeguard management.
