Ever since a child I was always in the water. Being born in urban New York City my mother wanted me to learn how to swim. After completing all the learn to swim program levels, I decided to push myself further and become a lifeguard. Though I enjoy guarding, however my heart remains primarily as an instructor. Being able to positively change a child’s life, give them confidence in and out of the water is priceless. These are all things I wish to instill in my students, as well as my own son.

Being a lifeguard has been one of the most exciting jobs I’ve had in my life. Not only because it is a great responsibility but as well for the fun. A good lifeguard should always stand for safety, fun and being a good role model. All of which I can I promise to uphold.

Hello! My name is Frankie and I look forward to guarding for your event! I am a lifelong competitive swimmer, and was the captain of my NCAA college team as well as a rec league swim coach for two summers. I spent last summer working as the head lifeguard at Sarah Lawrence College (my alma mater), working about 20-25 hours per week. My favorite part about guarding is helping my patrons feel comfortable and safe in the pool! Hearing from former patrons that my smile or care made them feel at home was always a highlight! Outside of swimming I am a big reader, and love finding the best deals at my local thrift shop.

I am a high school student with a passion for healthcare in all departments. My first intro to this was a life guarding career. Which I have been doing for about so far 10 months. I have learned so much about life guarding throughout the months and I am extremely skilled in problem solving. I am soon hoping to be a CNA or a certified nurse assistant in a hospital near me to learn more about general healthcare. Some facts about me is that I love cardio, swimming and weightlifting. I’ve only just become a lifeguard this year, although it’s been something I’ve wanted to do ever since I was little. My intentions for lifeguarding are to provide a safe environment that protects everyone whilst also making sure everyone has a good time! I was a member of the Freeport Devils Travel Swim Team for 8 years, obtained my Junior Lifeguard Certification at 14 and have been swimming since I was 3 years old. In 2021 I was a swim instructor for Saf-T-Swim in Garden City, NY teaching young kids how to swim and from 2022 on I was a lifeguard at a town beach in Laurel NY. I achieved Life Scout via the Boys Scouts of America. I have participated in various community service projects serving at food kitchens and helping the elderly. Aside from swimming, my passion is reading about history and collecting coins. I plan on traveling the world to see just about every country in Europe. In my spare time I often visit my great grandma who is 103 years old and still going strong.

I come from a competitive swimming background. I was on the Middle School Junior Varsity team, Farmingdale Aquatics team, and the High School Varsity team. My background is in the legal profession working as a legal secretary for many years. I stopped working to raise two children who are now young adults. My daughter is a teacher in the Portland school district, and my son is an artist who lives on the East coast. For the last twenty-four years, I worked as a Special Education Assistant in the Los Angeles Unified School District. For twenty of those years, I worked with at-risk students and students with special needs at the secondary level. These students resided in a residential facility, and I worked closely not only with the entire school staff but with the social workers and staff at the residential placement. I am excited to be part of the Management Team of Happy Swimmers and look forward to working with you.

I think a good lifeguard is someone who puts safety first! It’s the best summer job!

Hi my is Toby Molinary, and I love water! Since I was very small my family always loved going to the beach and pools. My love of water took me to many places, lifeguarding for the Boys Club of New York, to coaching their swim team ages 6-18 to working for a private family where I managed aquatics equipment and facilities, in addition to the utilization of all equipment on the grounds.
